My manager is very irritating to me and he is asking so many questions and he is thinking of me as a manager, If I answered one question again he is asking in-depth, can I ask him to release me from the project??? Please suggest me

Just report it to higher management, I had that in past and my manager got changed. It really helped me well

I documented everything and then later i escalated it. Directly spoke to my N+2 told the situation and showed the documentations.
The next day, they told me to mail RMG for supervisor change request
