I am working in SAP ABAP but I wanted to switch to Java developer or SQL developer, I am not interested in SAP ABAP but i don't know i should quit because many people say don't go to bench and look for projects otherwise there is a zero notice period policy and they will remove you.

Q 1 ) how much time hcl keep in bench i have 16 months of experience and currently Graduate engineer trainee, my salary is hiked little bit but designation haven't changed.

Q2 ) How can I convince my manager for change in tech stack.

Bro since you are GET, you have lot of time for bench period. They won’t lay you off.

  1. What others are saying is true only, since your designation not changed it will be more tough. Better to stay in the current project till designation change. That's my best advice for the current scenario. Else upgrade your skills and once you are confident give outside interviews.
  2. No need to convince if you follow the first one, still you want to try its your wish and choice.
