Depends on client. If client demands, manager has to send anyone from project to onsite.

I got onsite opportunity in, 1 year after joining project.

You have to complete the service period of 2 years

Too many factors beyond your control. Have to be Damn lucky or really someone with skill set which infosys can’t afford to lose. You cans start with requesting your manager but remember so will all your peers !!!
Easiest way to go on-site - Become a star contributor in a project and create a lot of dependency on you. Be visible in clients eyes /good books. After a year or so talk to client about your aspirations. If clients puts pressure in infosys on-site happens in a jiffy. But you need to be on project where the client is in a country of your preference. 50% of infosys projects are from US but getting a US work visa is a 1/10 lottery!! Any other country it’s easy.
