I'm in late 20's now.

To my bro's in their early 20's:

"Please priorities your fitness. Aim to establish a routine and get into a shape you yourself are comfortable with and proud of."

SqueakyCupcake

Thank you, this is something I’ve been working on. Do some physical activity, and prioritize healthy eatings!

I feel you bro 🥲.

Also to bois in their early 20s :
This right here is the MOST important thing. Doesn't matter if you are single, have no lover, gf or anything. I realised this only after I hit my late late 20s and mental and physical health problems started to creep in.
In this fast paced ever changing world that we live in, having a dedicated time to take care of yourself is very very VERY important. Trust me, once you cross 25, there's gonna be so many responsibilities (unless you are born with a silver spoon or something better), that eventually, you'll have zero motivation to make time to take care of yourself.

Do not ignore your looks and get a girl friend before 26.

Girls who are into arranged marriage have a very corrupted soul because of influence of family and who not. Their worth doesn't even remotely match their expectations but their ego is mountainous. Atleast if a girl likes the shyt guy in you maybe she likes it for herself atleast primarily and not for money status etc. In arrange marriage money status becomes primary, self well I have seen none of them have self anymore😅

This is deep, and I understood it on the third read!

If you want to get married, Do it early( around 26-28 ) and have a kid around 30-31. Do NOT delay marriage and having kids.

Start investing from your first salary and become financially successful as early as you can.

How would you define "financial success"?

QuirkyCupcake
QuirkyCupcake

It is subjective and varies from person to person. Financial success is the ability to attain a comfortable life having ample wealth/ investments and with a managed debt.

The sooner you start investing in yourself (financially, physically and emotionally), it will have compounding effects. Let me pick point by point.

  1. Financially - Not saying, you shouldn’t have fun, 20s waale trips will never come back in life. Mark X% amount for savings and make disciplined investments. Don’t blindly trust families advice on buying real estate after first few months of salary.

  2. Physical - with all new gyms, running events, get into fitness game early. We might not be having the best genes on the planet but make sure you can increase your living age to enjoy the max benefits.

  3. Emotional - “Boys don’t cry”, “Ladki hai kya” is a common desi lecture the moment you show some emotional weakness. Don’t drool too much for women that u ruin everything else, shaadi hojaayegi, s@& miljaayega.

SqueakyCupcake

Agree. Thank you so much, nicely summed up! point a, just started working in it, and b is ongoing :)

c, I dunno, I think my coding is different, I don’t get excited at puny things like someone gifted me something, I won’t be doing “awww”, “so sweet” or “oh maey gawdd” etc etc.

I’m like okay got gift. I think my threshold is high for this! So I’m not much of a celebrator. Lets see by time things will change

SqueakyWalrus

"Boys don't cry" ❌ Every human should be able to express any form of emotions, and that includes crying, either out of sadness or happiness. Psychologically and chemically speaking, it helps us relieve that emotion and makes us feel better and recover back to our best state ASAP. Fcuk Society and its nonsense standards.

Many feel like smoking makes them cool. It just damages lungs.

Drinking I do, rarely when there is some party like farewell, or other offices type. But smoking I can’t tolerate!

Play the long game, don't think of1-2 years.

Start small sips don't touch them

Get term and health insurance cheap at early twenty. Lock that price.

Have balanced life, gf, career, travel. Skewing it is not fun as every stage has its own pros and cons.
