Help transition from Software Engineer

I've been really giving it some serious thought atleast in terms of if I want this. What I want help with is I can't do this internally, so which postions do i apply to and what do I do before I start applying to at least help get noticed as a candidate and get interviews.

2. Do I need to do anything more other than mock interviews youtube and learning general PM knowledge?
