HELP | Oracle | Swiggy

Hi everyone,

I have 3.4YOE in testing. I am trying to switch to a developer role. I have below offers in hand. Let me know which one is better wrt work, WLB, Work culture, growth.

Oracle -Sr. Software Developer - it is kind of a devops role - 28LPA(Base) + 1.51L(PF)

Swiggy - SDE2 - Java/Golang Backend Developer role - 30LPA(Base) + 18L Stocks (vested over 4 years, 25% each year)

I need guidance which role is better as I am switching jobs for the first time. Can you please help me on the offer as well? Also I am trying to switch to dev role.

Please help as early as possible as I have to respond to them.

Note: Oracle is Hybrid - 2 days a week Swiggy - WFH but need to come to office once every 3 months for meets.

Big tech in general has a higher probability of better wlb as compared to startups. Also, your role in swiggy: will you be working with either languages or both?

Hi , I am also trying to switch to developer role, yoe 1.5 Didn’t write more than 10 line of cone in oracle. Literally frustrated. Its consulting role 0 learning.

Please let me know how to get the calls for interviews. Literally trying very hard to get calls

Need to focus on self-growth. If you do not see any advantage of working in Oracle and learning nothing then start preparing for interviews. Coding, system design, giving mock interviews, and trying to leave asap. If you are stuck for long, it will be hard to do after 3 4yrs of experience.
