Help Michael Scott decide + All new Salary cards on Grapevine
Hi Grapeviners,
I have a new job offer from a Web3 Company that is offering me a lot of equity and salary in tokens. Please help me decide! Feature announcement below:
Salary and Offer cards are now live on Grapevine. When creating a new post or comment, you will now see an option to add a Salary card (₹).
You can easily share your current salary and upto 3 offers in one post. Even better, you can share them as a poll so that other grapeviners can easily chime in with feedback.
Why did we make this?
-
Salary Polls: This new card will make it easier for users to see detailed compensation info with breakups and give you quality advice
-
Search: Better structuring of salary data will make salary info searchable and easily browsable on Grapevine. Currently a lot of info is lost in plain text
-
Comparison: Eventually we will be able to compare several Salary cards together on Grapevine - allowing you to view all cards created by users on a role, company, city and industry level.
Please update to the latest version of the app to use and view Salary cards (2.0.22)
As always, feedback and ideas are welcome!

This is so cool. 🧊🧊🧊 Saves a ton of time I folks spend on formating text.
Small question, what tool do you guys use to push OTA updates on app? Is it App Center for React Native?

Can't see the description when I open the post, so all I know is you're asking if you should join a Web 3 company offering you salary in tokens
You'll have to look at the company as a whole, is the salary being offered in stable coin or in their native token?
-Source: I'm working with Web 3 companies and I get paid in crypto. Also, in case this Web 3 company is looking to expand, let me pitch myself ;P

Sorry @JadeArgent I think you weren’t able to see the full post. Did you access this on the website?

@Micheal_Scott The app, I just force stopped and updated the app, worked fine now!
I do face some trouble scrolling through the Website sometimes, though
About the company, honestly, if the workload is something you're able to manage and they're paying you in stable coin, why not! Make sure the agreements are solid and you sign a strong indemnity clause and protect yourself. Where is the company based out of?

Okay no web3 CM gets paid that much btw. But also, @Micheal_Scott are you hiring? Would love to work with you tbh :‘) open to a consultation model as wel
