Trending @Infosys; Help me with release from project!!! Iam In a very tricky situation
Iam trying to switch Company, iam actively started applying and prepping. I need good amount of time everyday for applying and preparation.
My issues is currently iam in a project where for every two they randomly asking to learn different things to try me to put me in different works of the project, these are not at all related to the profile and tech stack I wanna switch . Iam wasting time instead of preping for switch.
I want get released from project to bench do i can focus on switch , one more tricky situation here is last year cycle which I got rating in Jan 2025 i received NI (needs improvement) rating which is not good
My doubt is how to get released from project, if I get released from project to bench as I have recent rating NI , will I be put in serious PIP or even more aggressive decision to termination by hr management as I have NI rating plus volunteery asked to release form project.
How to deal with situation I have 3 yoe , still 4lpa I wanna switch asap rn , give me some suggestions and tips pls
First of all..if you gor NI and why you are still in the project??.. secondly don’t say i dont bave time to learn and prepare ourself for career growth. Thirdly.. if they ask you to learn new things , are you using those new tech, in your project?? .. if yes, you got the best project. If not, what is the purpose of learning them. Fourthly.. what is your aspirations and what are you learning currently?
You want infosys to give you free salary on bench so that you can prepare for a switch!! Great thought process . As a result of NI you will be given an option to either take PIP or resign immediately with 3 months salary. I would say if you are so confident take the latter. You have 3 months salary and absolute freedom to study and option to join immedieyly the new company !!! So win win for you
