Idk why nobody mentioned this yet but just having a big tech tag on your profile attracts a lot of opportunities easily. Not sure if people from Deloitte also get that. If someone from the company can confirm, it'll be great. But yeah, I'd join amazon and stay for sometime and use this tag to switch easily to another company. I'm never staying in Amazon for long term for obv reasons and some are already mentioned in other comments.

Deloitte. Amazon is not an employee centric organization. WLB will be bad but you will be valued more in deloitte

Support role is bad. Go with Deloitte

One of my friend joined in same role in amazon 2 years back he always had a performance pressure and PIP culture of amazon is something which makes your WLB very bad, also in cloud support role I am not sure how much development work you ll do. As your most of the work will revolve around addressing AWS customer issues.

That's a fresher's salary for Amazon CSE. The difference is also negligible. Stick to Deloitte, definitely a better opportunity.

Yeah but later we can internally switch to different roles in Amazon after 6 months or 1 year.. in this perspective what will you suggest

Having Amazon on your resume would be good but you would be sacrificing a lot for that tag only.
Pros (Amazon) - Amazon Tag, Cloud experience (depending on your team), working with a smart set of folks. Cons(Amazon)- Pip, Night shift, WLB issues, constant pressure, promos are tough. If you plan on moving to a dev role, it'll be next to impossible to get an internal transfer and even if you do, it could be a hire to fire scenario, Salary isn't a lot different from Deloitte, Role is cloud support which will be putting you into entirely support oriented profile. Pros(Deloitte) - Good company, good wlb(know a few people from the company) , Consultant is a good role and gives you chances to be open for better opportunities in different companies, being a py dev, you'd be right at home in this role, no night shifts. Cons( Deloitte) - not as big as Amazon Tag, pip might be there but not as bad as Amazon.

You should decide based on where you want to be in your career. Pay and all are pretty similar. Unless Amazon is paying you 1.5x more than what Deloitte is paying you, I don't see any benefit in willingly diving into a hellhole of pip and toxic culture

Fyi - I'm an ex- amazonian .

Amazon will suck you dry and not in the fun way. Go for Delloite. Sure its a service based company but you’ll appreciate all the money you earn only if you are actually being able to spend it
