The design looks kinda old. These days I mainly see polished marble top and metal base.

be very careful where you buy wooden furniture. In most cases, the wood is either bad quality of even fake. with all sorts of wood/color/finish available, its very easy to fake good quality in wood.

Dust can easily accumulate in these kind of designs.
