- I myself want to pursue the mid stage startup, but they are low balling a lot on the stocks part. Like ~5-10L of esops for 4 years.

Unless you give a comp breakdown it's hard to tell. Also while comparing TC, startup ESOPs count as 0 compared to stocks of a publicly listed company.
