Help me choose: Stay at Cisco or go to Adobe?
The increase at Adobe is very minor so wondering if this is worth us

The increase in adobe is minor, doesn’t make sense to switch at this time.
why pay is so low? what tech stack you are in? at 6yr you should be above 30 fixed minimum.

What’s your tech stack. Seems lowball in both cases.
Do an internal transfer and your salary will get adjusted automatically for that grade. Then switch for a higher hike. The hike Adobe is offering is frankly an insult to you.
You’re being underpaid at both. Keep looking for a better opportunity. While you do that, have a talk with your manager regarding your pay. I don’t wanna share reference pays, but you are heavily underpaid given that you are in engineering.

If it's choosing between Cisco or Adobe, I'll suggest Adobe.
But if it's choosing between staying or switching,it's better to stay back as the hike is very low. You can easily a get a higher hike at a new org. But once you switch to Adobe, you'll have to wait for another 1 or 2 years to switch.
So stay back and continue looking out.
