If you have less experience (0-3) then join start up you will get good knowledge plus opportunity to do everything related to technical work and if anything wrong then ultimately you will learn how to correct those things faster then any mid size company because start up company do boot strap means cost cutting and with work with minimum team members that's where you will earn faster way knowledge if work hard there

Personal opinion start-up is just not worth it.

Constant pressure and no time for yourself.
