AskBangalore I recently booked a flat near Kuldu Gate, and it faces the KCDC plant. When I visited in the evening, there was a strong smell emanating from the plant.

As a newcomer to Bangalore, I was unaware of the KCDC situation and how frequently the stench comes in the area. I plan to move in this week and have already paid a deposit of 50k, but I haven't paid the brokerage or first month yet.

I have respiratory/throat issues, so I am concerned this will be problematic for me in the long term.

Is it possible to get my deposit back now? if not, for those staying in the Kudlu, Somsundarpalaya, HSR Area, how bad is the situation? Has it affected your health?
