So many companies are doing layoffs. It's becoming so common that now a days people have even got used to it. Folks in or know about US/UK/Canada, how's the situation over there? Is this shit show becoming common there too?

The money supply has gone down (because interest rates are high in America). Any business who was paying salary by raising money from investors can only pay as much, as there money supply is stopped.

Ya I was remotely working with a US startup and got laid off last week. There was no clue about layoffs before it all happened in 3 hrs.
I feel the situation is the worst in both India and Us.

The sad part is Fed is Going to pump money within a year but this time companies won't hire people. They will hire AI agents or AI tools or ai assisted agencies as temporary resources
