Health Vs Job Market Conundrum - Mumbai
Hi Peeps, I had resigned from my position earlier in April, and was undergoing some me time to recover from Lung Infection (Severe Allergic Bronchitis) due to where I lived in Mumbai. Gave up smoking, drinking, partying and went into deep recovery mode at home.
I had been looking for jobs but hardly was able to land a few interviews after 2000+ applications everywhere.
My previous organisation was super-cuntish where there was no health insurance(I was tricked), benefits or employee centrism. I lost literal paychecks because I was sick from the place I was living in and the lack of nutrition and selfcare. My next joining company does not have health insurance since it is a start-up. I just feel very pessimistic at this point of time
I have a DOJ for next week but I still extremely ill and feel like I'll die if I go back to Mumbai. I feel super stressed out. Mentally and physically. Parents are kinda pissed off since I am now a liability with my lung issue.
Should I stay jobless for a while and recover , or GTFO back to the grind of the market.
Every day I feel I might not live long enough to see the end of decade.
