Health Insurance in Notice Period – Floater & Premium

I’m serving notice at TCS. My Medi Assist cover is ₹2L individual + ₹12L floater. • If my spouse exhausts the ₹2L base, will the balance be covered from the floater automatically? • During notice period, do I need to pay any extra premium to TCS for using floater cover?

Anyone with experience, please confirm. 🙏

Yes, the floater cover will be taken automatically. If this happens in the middle of a claim, there can be a clarification email from them. Hospitals can take care of this.

The entire annual amount will be recovered in F&F if not deducted already in monthly payslips
