Health Insurance Co-Pay introduced 🤌

Just checked from April 1, 2024 for all hospitalization claims a co-pay is introduced. With this salary, and co-pay most TCS employees are one medical crisis away from poverty.

Company is pulling out all stops to push up the attrition rate. The fall from grace of this company is truly insane.

Generic text in the mail. Saying will depend on the plan chosen.

TCS gives one of the best health insurances. I had a rough year with 4 hospitalisation bills, around 12 lakhs in a year. I paid very limitedamount from my pocket. Not sure about policy changes, still TCS wot be the worst insurance choice.

I am a long timer. It used to be the best. But gradually it is coming down to normal ones in the market. Co-pay, increase in premium every year. With no rage it will become same as the ones in market. Talk to your respective HRBPs and make your displeasure known. Else they will keep doing this.

Just take insurance from outside don’t rely on TCS insurance. It’s good for nothing.

Are you sure co-pay wasnt there before apr 1?

I had a surgery reimbursement in jan, even then co-pay 10% was there.

10% was for reimbursement cases. Now even for cashless in network hospitals they will not give full money.

although the co-pay is capped to max rs10000 for gold plus and 7500 for gold, i agree that this is another poor decision by tcs for their employees. its just that they dont want to pay higher premiums for their employees and thus settled for co-pay based insurance.
