Headout Interview Experience
I interviewed at Headout a few months ago with their Talent and Culture team. Definitely liked the way their entire process was.
Listing down what I liked and what could be improved on -
+ves:
- Role clarity was great. They put the ball in my court as well and went to the extent to ask if I was sure I wanted to take up the role.
- The interview process was quite well defined. Had a round with the hiring manager and the next round with leadership. The HM round was online and the leadership round was onsite.
- The onsite experience was great. I was introduced to the team over lunch and then was called into the interview. I was given a live case which was quite interesting.
- They had little notes in all their meeting rooms for candidates to feel comfortable which I think was a wonderful gesture for nervous people to calm down a little.
-ves:
- I was given a case after the 2nd interview which seemed a little bit odd. Usually it is something that happens before interviews with leadership. Although, the case was great! Just the order of things that I would've loved to be changed.
Overall, they seemed like a great company to work for. Unfortunately, I couldn't get through their interviews but I would 10/10 recommend an interview process like that for a company of their scale.

Did they ever get back to you after the case study round? I was very recently ghosted.
I did receive a call post the case study but it was not detailed. Nevertheless, I'm not sure how their process is like now
Hmm I submitted my assignment over a week ago - since then HR stopped answering my calls. I take it to be a rejection after 5 business days.
Hey - does anyone here know whether their process is online as well? I have an initial screening call with them but I'm not based out of Bangalore right now so travelling there for an interview might be difficult in the middle of the week :/
I recently interviewed with them. It went well, I was told that it is a long process and they would take time, but it has been over 3 weeks now and I haven't heard back from them. I'm a little (a lot) disheartened because I was really looking forward to the assessment and they had even mentioned that they would give me an assessment :(
It’s good that the Headout interview experience has been overall pleasant for you. There’s confusion regarding the number of rounds in the Headout interview. Some say that the interview includes an HR round, a peer round, a hiring manager round and a leadership round. Others say that the interview also includes an online test. As per the difficulty level of the interview is concerned, Headout's interview is interview has a moderate difficulty level.
