Trending @HCL; HCL or AMAZON

I'm a 2024 grad. I have two offers in my hand. One is from HCL - Graduate Engineer Trainee (ServiceNow role) - 6LPA and another is Amazon - Transport Specialist - Non IT - 3.6 LPA.

I know you guys would say opt for the highest one. But my point is, I have good technical skills, so I'm thinking about taking the Amazon offer and shifting to a tech role from internal openings within Amazon after some period of time. Kindly provide me the correct path. Also correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you.

Join HCL in the end money matters, skills secondary money first. It sounds illogical and since you are college passout you many not understand but choose money over your skill or brand value.

No please don't go to Amazon especially if it is a non tech role because there is no option of IJP from non tech to tech ... You can do shift only non tech - non tech or tech - tech. My wife is working in amazon she mentioned abt this they will not select even u perform very well in interviews

Join HCL without thinking about a second opinion, remember this always tech stack matters not company not ctc... You can always switch to better CTC if you have a good tech stack

Join HCL for 6l party work for at least 1-2 yrs and get more skills and then apply for Amazon with 30% or more hike as most of the companies in internal job postings do not give more than 10-15% hike and also most have a cut off of 18 months before you can apply for job role/ project change
