“HCL Noida relocation, 30–32 LPA offer & hybrid work flexibility – seeking real experiences”

Hi everyone, posting anonymously and looking for genuine guidance from current HCLers / recent joiners.

I’ve recently cleared technical rounds at HCL and received confirmation to move ahead with HR discussion (mail says “Many congratulations, welcome to HCL”). The role is Azure Cloud Infrastructure / Ops, location mentioned as Noida.

CTC discussion is in the range of ~30–32 LPA, and I’m currently evaluating practical aspects before finalizing. I wanted to understand the real ground reality (not just policy) on a few points and would really appreciate honest inputs based on experience.

1️⃣ Relocation & Joining Support

• Does HCL provide joining flight reimbursement (one-time) when relocating from another city (e.g., Bengaluru → Noida)? • Is there any relocation allowance / hotel stay (7–14 days) provided at this level (~30+ LPA)? • Is this something HR can approve directly, or is it project / manager dependent?

2️⃣ Hybrid / WFH Reality for Noida Roles

I understand the official policy mentions office presence (e.g., 2 days/week).

But from a practical standpoint: • Are teams actually flexible with consolidated onsite presence (for example, 1 full week onsite per month instead of 2 days every week)? • Has anyone successfully followed a monthly onsite model while being mapped to Noida? • Is this flexibility usually discussed after offer / during project onboarding rather than at HR stage?

3️⃣ HR vs Manager Control

• How much flexibility is HR-driven vs project/manager-driven at HCL? • In real scenarios, does HR stick strictly to policy, while managers allow workable hybrid models once the project starts?

4️⃣ Offer & Negotiation Tips

• For a 30–32 LPA range, any tips on how to position relocation and hybrid requests professionally without creating a red flag? • Is it better to accept the offer first and then discuss flexibility, or bring it up during HR discussion?

I’m not looking for permanent WFH, just trying to understand what is practically feasible so expectations are aligned on both sides.

Would really appreciate insights from anyone who has joined recently, relocated to Noida, or worked in similar setups.
