HCL HR form question: Can preferred location differ from interview

Hi folks, need some guidance from HCL employees / recent joiners.

During interviews, I confirmed willingness to relocate to Noida, and HR discussions are now in progress. While filling the HR / IRF form, there is a “Preferred Location” field.

My question:

If someone has already agreed to Noida during interviews, is it safe to still mention Bangalore as preferred location in the HR form?

Or is it better to stick with Noida in the form and discuss any hybrid / flexibility later with the manager after offer?

Don’t want to create any confusion or delay in offer release. Looking for real experiences. Thanks!
