HCL - Architect - 13 YOE
Will probably be offered Technical Architect role as per the job description and current profile. Presently at 25lpa and being asked to move to Bangalore for 31lpa (have not completed HR round yet)
Did I lowball myself?
Not sure which band this role would fit in.

Asked to move to Bangalore from where? If you’re paying rent and other utilities, factor that also. It might negate the hike.
At 13 YoE, I think you 25L to 31L is a 25% hike. If possible, try pushing for a 30-40% hike! Appraisals might be single digit only, so better negotiate the base line.

Parents would stay here (rented accommodation) - can consider maybe 40k per month for their expenses.
As per my calculations and considering a higher cost of living for Bangalore, the final difference between both salaries would be 2~3LPA
Not worth shifting location, unless Bangalore is your hometown. Hyderabad also has many good IT companies.
Why not move to a product based company? 31 lpa at 13 yoe, that too for an architect looks like massive lowball given the recent IT boom in India.
Well the tech (one of the many products from IBM) I work with isn't really having too many jobs from product based companies.
I have been applying to most openings but the 90 day notice period negates the effort and nothing happens.
Where are you currently put up? That might determine if you have lost the bargain.. I don't know what service company salaries are... But you could do better I feel if you are leaving a tier 2 city and then coming here...
