Having 1.2 years of experience in frontend, should I switch to python as my current project based on python

I have 1.2 years as frontend developer after that I joined tcs and got a genAI project. In the project they are using python as a programming language.

So should I learn python as I want to switch company in the next 7 months due to a location problem.

Or should I learn MERN stack side by side?
