I think the backup plan is simple - Whatever field you are in (Developer, Researcher, Designer etc), just be very good at it. AI will never replace the top people in any field

But you can't sell it to anyone if everyone does the same. Oversupply and lack of buyers. We need to build a self sustaining society where we take different responsibilities and see and treat each other as no less or more than others.
This means, if some decide they'll take up cleaning the streets or garbage collection or sewage maintenance, others who are manufacturing clothes (or something what we currently perceive as higher value) SHOULD NOT look down on them.
We need a society that runs on a barter system or crypto, whichever suits better. Stripping off the dependency on capitalist money is the goal.

What’s the chance my Plan B also doesn’t get annihilated by AI or its indirect effects? Anyway, if I remain jobless for long period then I’ll upskill in whatever is in demand at that time
Tbh it's hard to plan for the future and I'm still dealing with uncertainty causing stress everyday.
What if your plan B gets eaten by AI, many say I'll go back to my farms but you have to be a zameendar or something very good to earn good income, most farmers I know are almost homeless living in a small hut sadly there's tons of movies made on this.
I only see youtubers surviving even there it's eating up, the top twitch streamer is right now an AI.
Plus countries are at war right now what if it's world war 3 in 2028 what will you do it's becoming very very hard to navigate uncertainty literally living on god's grace 😞

Thats what is happening actually. But you saw block layoffs yesterday.. likewise people needed will be reduced.. Like I will tell you mine for any problem statement previously we used to rely on our Data team to buy & curate data.. but now I generated all the text calling llm APIs... they were just not needed at all.
Just thinking some things would never be obsolete like eatables, apparels etc to start sideways.. given enough backing.
Buying farm lands as a backup. Will sell them for starting a business if this doesn't work out. Till then I'm trying to be the best of the best.

The only way to surpass ai is real world experience and that you cannot control to gain it comes only with time.
do not start business as soon as you feel like. one successful offline business is way better than 1 cr lpa where people need to pay 30 percent to tax
