Have you got sound pollution in road at traffic

Helo fellow am 24 yrs old living in Chennai and currently looking for job while I Don't have bike to attend interview so most of the interview I will go attend by bus while travelling or normally hanging outside with family or friend on road the sound from automobiles get irrate me always and make me anger and day to day the sound pollution get worse all over place , I understand people some emergency situation they give big horn sound on bike or car but nowadays it's becomed common and some times I thought why I cant teleport myself into peaceful and silentfull place hearing only pigeon , crows and sparrows sound . My question how can be sound pollution can be controlled
