Have you ever gotten any clarification request from Income Tax department?

Last year They sent a tax not paid notice, when I had clearly paid. Sent all proofs to them (apparently technical glitch at their end, system didn't reflect my paid amount) Took 3 months for the amount to settle, by the time it did it was showing penalty for late payement Got another notice, I simply paid the penalty and got off. No point trying to convince them I was right, they weren't listening anyways

Not me, but some of my colleagues, ex-colleagues received notices for doing political party donations.
