Why do some people see wfh in hours and some in days?what am I missing here..

It varies from Units to units and projects to proj.
Here's what I have observed -
Some units have WFH balance in days. So people have no option, they have to comply with it.
Some units have WFH balance in hr. (264) but the manager still asks employees to do hybrid.
Some units have WFH balance in hrs 264 & their manager as well as proj employees do complete WFH. ( I'm from this category) It's because of the proj requirement.
Totally depends on the proj & unit!

You're overthinking it. It's simple: some managers track WFH in hours for micromanagement, others in days for simplicity. It's all about control and preference. Adapt and move on.
