Have anyone jumped from Salesforce developer to SDE 1/2 roles ?
Wanna know any strategy/tips from the community here regarding this career path.
Why do you want to switch from Salesforce developer to any SDE roles? Because of Pay? How much experience do you have as a Salesforce developer?
I am nearing 5 YOE in this quarter. The reason is not because of pay TBH. I feel bored and the work doesn't excites me anymore. And feeling limited in a closed ecosystem is also another reason. I feel getting into SDE roles will get me into the world of tech with more exposure.
Any update on this brother? Did you make a switch? I'm currently a Salesforce developer and I feel that it has its limitations and I'd be better off in a software development/engineering role + I'm still in the early stage of my career so I'd be comparatively easy to switch domain now
