We have heard from the leadership team that Wipro has been discreetly terminating employees or moving them to the bench, both actions commonly referred to as silent layoffs..
My friend has been in the free pool (LOP) since Jan 15th. They are not giving her any project or not even Letting her resign.
LOP after 45 days in win win for company, retaining employees without paying them, it's like u have maid in ur house and u already employed 15 maids which is in queue to work as ur budget suits, if ur income decline u get maid 4 if not maid 8, house got too dirty,get maid 15, anyways u are not paying anyone of them✅
How can company stop someone from resigning? Just resign through system and it will get processed.
Let me give you a statistic and you can decide: Wipro's workforce declined by approximately 12% in the last 10 months. This number is exclusive of the one's who resigned.
