Has someone used rental agreement in bangalore for RPO/passport address purposes? Is it accepted if your passport has non Bengaluru address
Title says it all. Just wondering if someone has experience. I have heard mixed opinion of people as it is more to do with 11 month lease, sub registrar level something.
It is not for renewal but passport surrender. So not sure if I can do this process in Bengaluru or if I need to travel to passport center serving my address Thanks
Quick suggestion:
Please use your Rental agreement for updating Aadhar card address which can be done easily online only for 75₹ charge.
Update May take 1 week to 4 weeks around.
Use ONLY the updated aadhar card as address proof and then apply for Passport using your current bangalore address proof.
Don't mention about Rent agreement in passport office.
If the address you mention is passport application is mentioned on Aadhar Card - your task becomes hell easy.
Have created passport same way for myself, wife and relatives - No questions asked when you have everything properly mentioned on Aadhar card
Thanks Aadhar card updating can be done in person too? Is that faster?
My case is for passport surrender. So no police verification or anything would be done.
