Has really TCS gave severance package of 2 year?

There is news that TCS is so generous that it gave 2 year salary as severance package, is it really true. Its very difficult to trust corporate nowadays.

It varies from 0 to 24 months. Not all employees got 24 months severance. Very few are lucky one. Most of associates got only 3 months gross salary as severance pay. Few are also thrown out without even a penny.
