Yes the best models will come from US and China. But the best application layer use cases may emerge from India. AI is just getting started. There’s easily a 10 year period when new use cases will keep emerging and becoming stronger
And yes we may lose the IT sector to a more powerful vibecodijg sector in India

I think Indian companies like TCS are skilling up and we internally use a lot of AI

We have Krutim wooohoooo 🤩

Where is Varun Mayya's Project 11A btw?

I only have faith in Sarvam Hopefully they have the lowest price of AI long term and help us spread it through the country faster
I am also super positive about consumer companies building AI apps (like Round1) but I think this is still very early. If I had to bet - in 6 months there will be crazy good AI products in India (not models)
But it is tough to monetise such products if they're solely focused on the Indian demographic. Even with grapevine's R1, they have been able to pull it off because they have decent amount of funds, but what would happen 6-12 months later, not many will be ready to pay 22000+ a month just to chat with Al characters.

How is Sarvam vs Eleven Labs? Comparable in quality?
