Has anyone received c1 to c2 promotion on the July cycle? Any idea when?

My manager told he has initiated the Promotion process but still I did not get it. When can I expect the promotion mail. Also how do I make sure my manager is not lying and the promotion is in process for me? What will be the hike percentage from C1 to C2 ?
