Yes they do. Else why will they spend that big an amount to get you one. But yea off late the opportunity have dwindled due infosys hiring lot of us citizens due to backlash against it during trump regime. So demand for folks from india to us has gone down for infosys. But if guy have H1b and your client wants you on-site infy will have no problems sending you
Infosys has raised H1B lot for many employees and many of them got selected as well. They have just started the Glomo process but canceled the process for almost everyone. It was just a gimmick to retain employees. They were already aware of resources in US bench and there was no unexpected changes in the global economy. They have committed H1B fraud just to retain resources without any hike for 2 years in a row.
