I got promoted in Jan 24. I completed my 4 years in August and informed my manager. He said we will see in next promotion cycle. I didn't push any further and in Jan I got the call from my lead.

Yes he is trying currently, but manager told him will get promotion this time(quarter) , so he can negotiate with updated salary right! But want to know is it worth waiting for promotion and specifically for switching (negotiation reason)
