Has anyone got an exception for wfh for a medical condition ? What is the process ? Should we directly contact HR with medical records?

October month I took 20 days exception.
- Get ready all the documents and Xrays.
- First Personally ping your manager regarding your condition and this much days you need the exception.
- Send an detailed email to your HR keeping your manager as CC.
- Also, Some HR’s won’t see the mail asap. Just ping them in teams chat and let them know that you have sent email.
- She will either approve your mentioned dates or she will give some dates based on that raise the exception in portal.

And yes, one if my friend got the exceptions. But it was indeed not so smooth despite the manager was supportive.

You will have to submit the medical records supporting the condition. Also, they will allow only if the internal doctors support it.
