It’s a bit weird.
Graduated from an IIT in 2014
CTC progression:
2014: 12 LPA
2015: 13 LPA
2016: 13 LPA (sign on bonus is no more and increase in base just about covered it up)
2017: 0 (quit job and started up)
2018: 0
2019: 21 LPA (startup failed and got a new job)
2020: 25 LPA
2021: 29 LPA
2022: 40 LPA (job switch)
2023: 95 LPA (job switch, including joining RSU annual vesting and joining bonus)
