HARDWARE ENGINEER (POWER ELECTRONICS)

hello everyone!

Started my career in BOSCH 2.5 years back as hardware design engineer (electronics)

“people do get confused with mechanical”

and currently my CTC is around 8 LPA.

This job is interesting for me and challenging also but I am worried about its future,

what is the future of hardware engineer (Power electronics) ????

Can we expect a salary of 35+ in next 10 years????

Salary depends on the market benchmark at that time... But Power Electronics is a really good area to shine throughout the career, pls keep learning

Yes, High speed design and VLSI are the other areas which are now buzz words supporting High speed connectivity and AI.

I feel that getting to hold anyone of your preferred one apart from plain HW engineer (analog, digital and mixed signal).
Match your skill level in that area with market demand over the years.

You are well paid, I would suggest you to slightly think out of regular activities for faster growth. Try to find solutions to reduce BoM cost, suggest new product idea, improve existing product and you will gain confidence of your business unit. This will accelerate your career.
