Iam temporarily posted in an assignment and it's been 5 month since I have joined the field. I was asked to do a particular part of an specific area of assignment. I completed that alone. Later on person who was handling it, didn't take handover from me rather manager reached out to me directly for review of full area. I said I haven't done full area. He started scolding like I have to have full control of the file even if I received it for small work.
This I felt odd being the point that iam only temporarily assigned to this assignment.
Would you explain a bit more?? Most of us have a tech/ tech related job so not sure if people would be able to relate without more context
Are you getting paid the same as the person who is working full-time on the project? Then don't worry about it. When you're put on "bench" it is not because you're incompetent, but the orgs who failed to manage their people resources. Collect your paycheck, if they start messing with the money that's credited in your account, then leave.
