In my previous project I was hardlocked but now in new project I have been softlocked . What is the difference ? Plus which one is safe ?

You can understand this you're getting a Letter of Intent vs Offer Letter from a new company. Softlock (LOI) is just that your manager has expressed your interest in taking you in but hasnt actually taken you in a project yet, and there's no guarantee that you're surely going to get an offer letter. Hardlock(Offer letter) is when you have actually been assigned to a project and you can start working there

I have been provided wbse also to charge the time with this soft lock , then is it like they will hardlock me in future or keep me in soft locked only ?
