I have applied for H1B cap for 2025. How would I know if the Visa team has actually submitted my petition with USCIS for the lottery process.

Petitions are applied from employers account on USCIS website.What if they don't actually apply for me and simply say your name was not picked up in lottery.Where's the proof?

There is no proof.

If your vts request is approved on all levels, they will file for the lottery.

They will also answer in email that whether or not it has been filed for you.

Managers play politics . Yes.

But GMS team will submit.
