It depends on your manager if he want to nominate you or not. Generally we will get chance after 2 to 3 years only.
This year it is already completed. You can ask for next year

Typically till you spend 2-3 years no one will consider you. You can’t apply , you have to be nominated. There is formal eligibility criteria but it’s generally for JL4 and above and minimum 2-3 year experience in infy. But if your manager wants he can nominate you before. But remember there are many in queue!! Since h1b is a lottery for last 10–12 years , managers will send their nominations around Jan-Feb every year. So that is the time you have to push your manager yo get your name in. Rest is your luck. Once you get through the lottery there is a long process after that if everything goes well you will be good to travel by Jan of next year
