Trending @Infosys; H1B selected what are the odds

What should be the next process?

What are the chances of getting it? I see previous year it was 739 from prev prev year 5860!

I am already having an assignment and ICT visa in process for CANADA

What should I prefer?

You'll be assigned a project for work permit approval. Once done then either same project or new project would be needed for stamping.

I am kind of critical resource in my project, my manager told that he will initiate canada visa, just wanted to know the time i mean month in the year, where i can follow up with him

Almost 3 month to get visa, then 3-6 month to travel for the same

H1b process is very long. It will take December time to get your petition approved from usics
And for stamping it will take another year .. even though your visa is stamped . Project should available to send you to US

I’ve seen many people who have visa stamped and waiting here

I suggest you to go Canada and parallely you do this H1b process

You can gain Canada on site experience in the meantime

Go for Canada visa present and let the H1B work in parallel , one of my colleague did the same picked Canada assignment and later once H1B was stamped he was offered with US project.. congratulations 😊🍸
