Trending @Infosys; H1B Opportunity
I got my name in the H1B lottery last year, since then all the formalities have been done, just stamping is left. But now my DM is saying that there is no opportunity for the current project for which my petition was raised, and I have been working on the same project for the last 3 years. There is very little hope left in me for H1B, but my project manager told me to wait for Apr-June Qtr. It's May going on but still there is nothing from them and when I ask, they tell me to connect later or they say they are looking into it. What could be the possibility to get the opportunity and If there is anything required from my side please suggest.
If I try to switch, is there a possibility that my H1B can be transferred to the next organization without stamping. If yes, then please suggest a few organizations which do so where I can apply for the openings.
I got selected in 2023. Got my stamping done by March 2024 and I am leaving now🙂

Bro since you've h1b, try to apply for jobs in Infosys us. If you get selected then your project has to release you

Just wait for few more months and if there is still no hope, move on to next company.
I'm also I same position considering the wait time. I got picked in 2023 and stamped in March 2024. Still waiting for onsite project. So if you lose hope better to go to next company. And most of the company outside might not send you onsite with Infosys h1b bcoz they might also have same kind of people waiting to be sent.
You wont get onsite opportunity near by considering US bench strength , on going US trade war and current india tensions!!
