H1B initiation in India

Hi H1B has been initiated for me in GMS portal. Its approved and status is processing pending with GMS team. 1.But I doubt if they are really processing it or it’s eye wash. 2.when would I know that I am selected in lottery or not. 3.Further if I get selected in lottery I doubt if my manager would inform me or if he could stop further processing

  1. If all project level approval done and it is in under GMS team queue then they are working on it for lottery applications.. Do not worry here

  1. Why so distrust on your manager? If he does not want your visa he wouldn't have initiated at the first place... BTW your status will be updated in GMS irrespective of your manager informing you or not

  1. Once lottery is announced.. After that as early as April/May and late as September you will come to know about your selection or rejection
