Trending @Cognizant; H1 Feedbacks Scam?

Hi everyone,

I had a quick question around the H1 & H2 media reviews we do at Cognizant.

As I understand, H1 (which wraps up by June) is mainly for us to close out existing deliverables and record feedback, and then we plan new deliverables for H2. However, in the final appraisal, it’s H2 ratings & comments that directly impact the year-end band and hikes.

So just wanted to understand — 👉 How critical is the feedback or ratings given during H1? 👉 Does it play any direct role in the final hike, or is it more of a checkpoint which managers only use as a reference while finalizing H2?

Would love to hear how it’s typically looked at, from anyone who’s been through multiple cycles here. Thanks in advance!
