Gym membership drill

Hi everyone! Would you suggest signing up for a gym membership with a personal trainer? Context - I have struggled with being consistent in the past. So it is wise that I first build the consistency and then join a gym or will the gym help me be consistent?

I found it easier to build the behaviour of waking up early and going for a walk first. After a few weeks of this I was confident about being consistent at the gym. I had tried taking a personal trainer previously but it didn't help me stay consistent, instead if I'd miss a couple days I'd just stop going completely because who'll answer his questions about why I didn't come etc. Maa baap se enough daat pad jaati hai, paise deke trainer se bhi kyu khau 😂

What's the avg cost of hiring a personal trainer?

I paid close to 25k for 3 months. This was at a local gym in Bangalore, not one of the fancy franchise outlets - those are more expensive.

Start with 3-4 days a week, then slowly build strength and consistency will come with time. Also make your routine around it and take care of the diet itself will push you to keep going.

A personal trainer isn't necessary for discipline. Even the regular shared trainer is brutal enough.
