GV becoming another FB
Recently seeing people posting political issues, praising or degrading particular individual reputation, sports, financial and many other topics here. People using literally abusive words, language and no action being taken against them. Its slowly becoming a FB version.
Why I am sharing this? Because I was social media addictive and know how powerful these posts are. They literally program you or condition your mind and take your peace of mind.
I joined GV few months ago just to check what's going on in IT sector and software engineering domain. But now, I don't think GV's users are here just for same aim as I am and I can feel it.
Either people who drive this platform needs to be more strict in policy ( abuse control, content not relevant to this platform etc) or people like me will suffer and lose their mental peace and eventually quit the platform.
A very wise man said - Create the content you want to see, people will follow✌️

I'm not saying that platform is not able to provide me any value in return of my time or content. The issue I'm trying to raise is that this platform be enforcing policies and controls over what people post and what they can comment on any post.
There will always be people who will misuse the any platform provided to them. But it's the control and policies which keep it intact.
If people abuse each other and administration just say "ohh dear, don't abuse " .. that's obviously is not gonna work
There will be always noise amidst the serenity. I haven’t seen perfect algo for feed where I only see the posts which I want to. Someday GV can get better on this front but know that it’s upto u to ignore the noise
