Guys need your valuable opinion!

I stay with my parents in a tier 2 town. We have a 800 sq. ft house which is more than 100 yrs old. We are really scared of living in this home as it is fully damaged.

Yesterday one incident happened one of the walls got demolished. Fortunately we were not there at that time.

For the past few yrs, We wanted to reconstruct our home from base, but the total cost is around 20 lakh.

I have been working for the past 2 yrs but hardly able to collect 3 lakh as I spent most of the money by giving it to my father during my sister's marriage.

Guys, can anyone suggest 🙏🙏 there is any source or platform from where I can raise funds. We need to raise around 14 lakh.

Sometimes local communities, NGOs, or charitable organizations may offer assistance for housing renovations. Depending on where you live, there might be government schemes or grants available for housing repairs or renovations. It's worth researching.

Otherwise, a loan seems like the only option.

Can you share any communities or something if you are aware..? Does PMAY Urban help in these situations?

Is loan not a viable option for you?

I have an education loan for that I am paying 15% of my pay, thought of taking a loan but hardly I can take 3 to 4 lakhs, beyond that I cannot afford the EMIs. If nothing works then this is the last option I am thinking of

You can take home loan for 20-25 years. If 9% is the interest you are paying then your emi comes around 11-12k a month. After a few years you can foreclose. Is it doable for you?
